Kellogg's Australia, a subsidiary of the global food giant Kellogg Company, plays a significant role in shaping Australia's breakfast culture and food industry. With a history spanning over a century, Kellogg's has become a household name, offering a wide range of cereals, snacks, and convenience foods.
The client required to achieve at least 25% reduction in energy consumption and operational costs for energy profile across all sites. This was in alignment to their committments under the Carbon Farming Initiative, at the time. This energy production was expected to result in an effective payback ROI within 2-3 years.

The whole project design was reviewed to align with IPMVP requirements including Site Visits, Energy Baseline Establishment, Gap Analysis, Opportunities Identification and Technical & Economic Feasibility. Including the Implementation plan and M&V which was to support the upgrades carried out on all equipment including major motors, boiler system, burners and conveyors and cooling towers. During the project, we conducted awareness training to help the organisation build awareness and adopt the new way of operating equipment to further support the energy savings goals. This ultimately led to us achieving 27.5% reduction in energy consumption across the company.
