MODON Circular Economy

Accelerate CE Program, Phase II

The engagement has included the assessment of over 2000 industrial businesses (factories) in the Central & Western region of Saudi Arabia. The ultimate goal is to filter these sites from three key sectors (form the total 11 identified) and develop roadmaps for 80 factories within these three categories.

The approach to achieving this goal is through direct stakeholder engagements, multi-faceted analysis and assessment of the ability of the factories to adopt a circular economy system. Leading to building a CE Network across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. All the while aligning with GRI, the Saudi Vision 2030 & other frameworks and programs.

The iterative process of filtering factories with questionnaires, site visits, data analysis and organizational assessments is being carrying out in multiple stages. Leading to the final selection of three industrial sectors and 80 factories being selected to identify material impact and circular economy opportunities to guide them in adopting a Carbon Circular Economy. Empowering the Factories & MODON to drive and support the program.
